Two women. Two lived experiences. One shared assignment.

Danielle Johnson proudly served in the United States Army from January 1997 through September 2001, achieving the rank of Specialist (SPC/E-4). Her military career laid the foundation for the leadership, discipline, resilience, and commitment to service that continue to define her work today.

During her time in the Army, Danielle completed Basic Combat Training, Advanced Individual Training (AIT), the Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC), JNOC, and every Army correspondence course available to her at the time. Her dedication to continuous learning reflected a mindset that has remained central to her professional journey: always be prepared, always keep growing, and never stop developing your skills.

She served as a 52D Power Generation Equipment Repairer (Generator Mechanic) — a highly technical role requiring precision, analytical thinking, and problem-solving under pressure. Danielle became proficient in interpreting complex electrical schematics, diagnosing electrical system failures, rebuilding generators, replacing wiring harnesses, and maintaining mission-critical equipment that supported military operations.

Her willingness to step into difficult assignments quickly earned the respect of her peers and leaders. As a Squad Leader she was entrusted with mentoring Soldiers, maintaining accountability, preparing counseling statements, overseeing equipment documentation, and ensuring maintenance records were completed accurately — experiences that shaped the organizational leadership, operational discipline, and people-first approach she brings to business today.

Danielle's assignments included Fort Stewart, Georgia, followed by a deployment to Kuwait, where she further strengthened the confidence, adaptability, and resilience required to lead in demanding environments. She also served two years as an M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) Gunner, an experience that reinforced teamwork, mission readiness, tactical proficiency, and trust among fellow Soldiers.

One achievement she remains especially proud of is earning a perfect 300 score on the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT), qualifying her to wear the Army Physical Fitness Badge — a reflection of her commitment to discipline, excellence, consistency, and accountability.

Today, Danielle continues to serve in a different uniform. As Co-Founder of She's Vetted for Business, she is committed to helping women veterans, veteran spouses, military-connected women, and veteran-owned businesses navigate entrepreneurship, leadership, workforce development, and government contracting with confidence. Through She's Vetted, she helps build the bridge between military service and sustainable business ownership — because for Danielle, service never ended when the uniform came off. It simply evolved into a new mission: helping other women veterans build what comes next.
