About
A national ecosystem for veteran women in business.
She's Vetted for Business is a veteran-owned and operated business, workforce, leadership, and government contracting development organization serving women veterans, military spouses, veteran-connected women, and veteran women-owned businesses.

Mission
She's Vetted equips women veterans and military-connected women with the business structure, workforce development, leadership capacity, professional positioning, and government contracting readiness required to build sustainable companies, pursue greater opportunities, and lead beyond service.
Vision
To create a future where women veterans and military-connected women are not simply thanked for their service, but fully resourced to build, lead, employ, contract, and create lasting economic impact.
Origin
The origin of She's Vetted.
She's Vetted was created because women veterans and military-connected women often step into entrepreneurship carrying discipline, resilience, and leadership refined through service — while navigating fragmented resources, confusing certifications, limited access to buyers, and programs that thank them without preparing them.
Danielle Johnson and Kenya McCarter combined lived military experience with proven business development strategy to build a coordinated pathway: contracting readiness, workforce development, leadership capacity, professional positioning, and community — inside one intentional ecosystem.
The Maryland pilot is the first proof-point. National expansion follows.
Why women veterans need specialized development
The transition from service into ownership requires more than motivation. It requires structure around identity, income, workforce, and buyer relationships.
Why veteran spouses and military spouses are included
Military-connected women build businesses across relocations, deployments, and reinventions. They deserve infrastructure that reflects that reality.
Why contracting, workforce, leadership and image belong together
A capability statement without leadership presence, or leadership presence without operating infrastructure, is not enough. Pathways win. Pieces don't.
Veteran Owned. Women Led. Mission Driven.
Veteran Owned and Operated is an organizational designation and should not be interpreted as a government certification.
